A non-profit organisation offering a wide variety of technology classes conducted in small groups
by seniors and for seniors.

Who Are We?
We are a friendly and inclusive club run entirely by a dedicated group of volunteer seniors. We cater to absolute beginners through to more experienced students, both in Parramatta and beyond. Courses cover areas such as computers, digital photography, smart phones and tablets, programs such as Word and Excel, email, Facebook, Google, genealogy and more.

Our Members
Our members range in age from 55 through to students well into their 80s. Some face the challenges of dealing with poor vision, hearing loss or deteriorating mobility but don’t allow these conditions to be a barrier to their learning. With a maximum of six students per class, we provide a fun and caring environment in which to build your skills. Our patient and supportive trainers are there to ensure every student can learn at their own pace.

Our Classes
Offering classes five days per week during school terms, Parramatta Computer Pals for Seniors, affectionately known as ParraPals, welcomes all senior residents of Parramatta as well as any other seniors who can travel to our central location above the Parramatta Library.
Our low-cost courses range in duration from two hours through to ten hours, spread across a five-week period. In addition, we convene several Special Interest Groups for members who wish to meet up regularly to continue developing their skills in a specific area. We also run events throughout the year which provide members with opportunities to relax and socialise in an informal setting.
